About Kay

Addressing land title issues, real estate transactions, or an estate plan is often like solving a puzzle to Kay Kossen.

In the area of real estate, she represents individuals and corporate clients in drafting and negotiation of real estate transaction documents, developments, associations, leasing, and solving complex title issues.

Kay is also highly involved in the rapidly growing field of elder law, advocating for retired people and those seeking to fund long-term care. She assists families in real estate transfers, estate and asset planning, qualification for Medicaid benefits, and disability planning, including guardianship and conservatorship issues for senior adults.

As a shareholder at Kreis Enderle, Kay is a frequent speaker on topics of real estate, estate planning and elder law, and she has spoken to groups of real estate agents, financial planners and retirees. She has also written articles for professional publications involving real estate and elder law.

She’s a proud graduate of Hope College, a devoted mom, and lives in Southwest Michigan, where she loves to spend time along the Lake Michigan shore.
